Hans Freudenthal is a great mathematician. He became famous after introducing an approach to teach mathematics, especially for children, which is now known as Realistic Mathematics Education. He stated that 'Mathematics is human activities' that is why he taught students not to know mathematics but to make mathematics. To give a respect for his bright idea, an institute was built to give chance for them who want to learn more the approach. The institute was named Freudenthal Institute in Netherland.
